Speaking & Consulting
I work with a variety of organizations and entities through consulting and speaking engagements. I am particularly focused on providing insights into justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion practices within institutions of higher education and related industries. Never one to shy away from a tough conversation, I am known to both call in and call out institutions and institutional actors in order to face the difficult realities of creating a more just world. My sense of humor makes me particularly good at making uncomfortable realities accessible in conversation.

"Your presentation on “Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion-Focused Innovation in Higher Education” was so timely and important. One of the goals of the purSUIT program is to ensure that we center learners in all that we do, and your presentation helped toreinforce how important that position is. You also helped us to consider how policies and ethics impact our work, something I know we will follow up on further as we refine our ideas. Finally, you helped us remember our place within a system that works as designed, and encouraged us to consider how our privilege in this system can be used to make things better for all; I am grateful for this reminder and appreciate your challenge to us to remember this as we propose new innovations." - Shenandoah University
